I'm Mikaela, a Swedish born, London based travel designer and the founder of Curated Hideaways. After a career in the tv production and media industry where storytelling and attention to detail were everything, I channelled that same passion into creating a travel agency built on one simple idea: that the right trip, planned with genuine care, can change how you see the world.
I've spent years exploring destinations first hand, building trusted relationships with the best hotels, guides and operators worldwide. Every client we work with gets our full attention, from the very first conversation to the moment they arrive home.

Conscious Travel
We have a responsibility to reduce the impact that travelling has on our planet. It’s our firm conviction that if we all make an effort to promote sustainability and give back to the planet, it will benefit the environment, ourselves, and future generations. Travel connects cultures and economies, enabling relationships with people from different parts of the world – travelling more sustainably and consciously is our way to maintain that positive impact.
We aim to design our trips as environmentally conscious as possible by recommending accommodations, excursions, activities, and transport that are sustainable. Where possible, we work with local businesses and recommend restaurants that use locally sourced products to support the communities and promote sustainable tourism
